Forest Ownership in Donor Countries and in DRC

The infograpahic below displays the breakdown of forest ownership in France , Germany and Norway, three of the largest donor countries of forest sector reforms in the Congo Basin, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). It shows the significant contrast between the three European countries, which exhibit  high levels of community and/or (mostly local) private ownership of forests, and the DRC where the state retains complete ownership of forests.
